President
Ravi Shenoy founded Shenoy Engineering in 2003. He is the President and Principal-in-Charge on several of Shenoy’s projects. With over 50 years of experience in design, construction and management of MEP systems in various types of facilities in the public and private sectors, his in-depth knowledge and expertise provide direction to effective project delivery. Prior to founding Shenoy, Ravi was a Principal at MDM Consulting Engineers for over 24 years and was in charge of numerous large, complex, and challenging projects. From Educational Facilities, Corporate Office Buildings, Apartment Buildings, Medical Centers, Computer Rooms to Correction and Transportation (Air, Land, Rail) Facilities, he has overseen projects with construction costs of over a billion dollars. He has extensive experience in the design of high performance buildings. He has hands-on experience in the design of all aspects of mechanical and electrical systems that lends itself in Green Building opportunities and strategies. He was a member of the committee for developing Green Building Design Standards for the New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC). He holds a Masters of Mechanical Engineering from Cooper Union, and is a registered PE in NY and NJ.
