Job: Mechanical Engineer

SHENOY Engineering, PC [SEPC] is a full-service consulting engineering firm that requires a Mechanical Engineer for mechanical engineering design services related to HVAC, building systems.

SEPC offers unparalleled experience in planning, design, cost estimating, construction administration, and inspections for various types of large and small commercial, institutional, educational, residential and industrial buildings for both new and existing facilities. We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, Mechanical Engineer in HVAC, Building Systems Design Engineering for such projects. The engineer should have the ability to design such projects, conforming to Construction Codes in the States of NY and NJ. We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, driven, intellectually sound and hard working Mechanical Engineer, who would be designing building mechanical systems, working from our offices located in Pine Brook, NJ. Qualifications and Job description are as follows.

QUALIFICATIONS
a. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Master’s Degree is preferred.
b. 3 to 5 years of experience in designing, drafting HVAC systems
c. Strong Technical knowledge of HVAC systems
d. AutoCAD proficiency and REVIT experience
e. Knowledge of NY and NJ Building Construction Codes & Standards
f. P.E., LEED AP Preferred
g. Must have approved/accepted work authorization

JOB DESCRIPTION
a. Prepare complete mechanical engineering design scope reports, calculations, sizing, layouts, drawings, specifications and other documents
b. Conceptualize initial design and develop comprehensive mechanical system design.
c. Conduct site & condition surveys and prepare engineering documents as required
d. Coordinate with Architects, other Engineering disciplines, contractors, clients and others
e. Attend meetings with clients and others for review, construction phase and as required
f. Provide follow-up and engineering supervision during project construction phase
